What happens at my first initial exam?
The initial exam gives us a chance to see what your dental needs are, as well as your phobias, anxieties, questions, and concerns. You will have a chance to express any of your concerns and ask any questions. We will perform any necessary X-rays, Intraoral Camera pictures, and a comprehensive oral evaluation. We will then go over the treatment plan, pictures, and X-rays, then together we'll figure out the most efficient and comfortable way to proceed with your dental needs.
Will I have a cleaning done on my first visit?
Most patients will receive a cleaning (Prophylaxis) on their first visit, however there are a few types of cleanings, including deep cleaning (Periodontal Scale & Root Plane) which needs to be completed in several visits. Once we perform the comprehensive oral evaluation, we'll determine what type of cleaning is best for you, discuss the timeline and fees.
Do you take insurance?
We accept all insurance plans except DSHS and State Coupons. We are participating members of Washington Dental Service, Premera Blue Cross and Regence Washington Health. We are a Washington Dental Service "Premier Option" dentist, and a "DeltaPreferred Option" dentist.
Before your first visit, we will call your insurance and get a full run down of benefits, so when you arrive we can explain how you, your benefits and our fees work together. We highly recommend you familiarize yourself with all of your insurance plans restrictions and benefits. We will make sure we provide as much information as we can, but remember your plan is a contract with you and your company. As a courtesy, we will bill your insurance, however regardless of insurance payment, any balance remaining will be your responsibility. Please note that any remaining balances are your responsibility regardless of insurance coverage.
How are your fees?
We are very competitively priced for the Eastside Seattle Area. And before we bill for any service, we can provide a treatment plan with an estimate of all fees, estimated insurance coverage and personal balances upon request. Please call us with any other specific questions.
How do you bill?
We bill the insurance first by electronic mail, we will then give you a statement of how much your insurance will not cover. If there is an amount left that your insurance did not cover, we will bill you for the difference. For basic and major services your co-pay is due at the time of service. If you are a cash patient, we ask that payment be received at the time of service.
What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, DISCOVER, checks and cash. We also accept online payments through paypal.com. You may request a call back to make a credit card payment over the phone by emailing us. We can assist with financial arrangements through a finance company.
Do you see children?
Children are some of our favorite persons and we prefer to see them between 2 and 3 years of age.
