I enjoy helping people achieve and maintain healthy and happy smiles. But the best part of being a dental hygienist is getting to know our patients and their families. Every day I get to meet incredible new people, and catch up with established patients, to build and solidify our relationships. Here at our practice, I perform oral cancer screenings and prophies, periodontal scaling, and administer anesthesia, too. A lot of my day is spent talking with our patients about oral care and how they can keep their mouth healthy through good home care routines and making healthy decisions.
As for my personal life, I live in the Snoqualmie Valley with my husband and two teenage sons, two dogs, and a lizard. I enjoy running, hiking, hot yoga, and anything that gets me outside.
I love working independently with my patients and, over time, building lasting relationships with them. Our conversations always lead to me to learn something new about the world or about myself, and that means every day is interesting and something I look forward to. As a dental hygienist in our practice, I perform prophies, scaling and root planing, and administer nitrous oxide and local anesthetics, as well. During my time with our patients, I talk with them about how to keep their oral cavity in great shape between cleanings, and help them to understand the importance of oral health and how it affects their overall body health.
During my days off, I spend my time with my young daughter, building castles and playing with stuffed animals. When I can find the time, I like to read early 20th-century historical fiction and autobiographies. I also enjoy watching movies and baking, and I’m trying to become a runner.
When I am able to connect with a patient, when we form a relationship that means something beyond the dental treatment chair, I feel fulfilled. Our patients are so varied, with interesting backgrounds, interests, and life experiences. As I care for them, they talk with me and I love hearing their stories and learning about their passions. My work includes taking radiographs and digital images, screening for oral cancer, and performing prophies. I also educate our patients about home care and the best decisions they can make to stay healthy and keep their teeth and gums in excellent condition through good practices at home.
When I’m not at work, I love cooking and volunteering at community events. My husband is a computer geek and a guitar player, and we have an energetic daughter who loves to dance.
I enjoy helping our patients and interacting with them each time they visit our practice. I assist Dr. Bailey with all restorative procedures, patient care and pediatric cleanings. Our entire team is dedicated to helping our patients and we strive to make sure that each person has a positive dental experience from start to finish. I love working with Dr. Bailey because he takes great care of his patients and takes his time to make them comfortable.
I have an adult son and spend my free time gardening, boating or hiking. I love spending time outdoors!

We have an incredible staff here, and I love working with each of them, but even more wonderful are those we serve. Each patient is a fascinating individual and we are committed not only to providing them with wonderful care, but ensuring that they know how honored we are that they have chosen us to provide their dental services. I handle our insurance billing processes, the posting of payments, and patient scheduling, too. I love working with Dr. Bailey, not just because he’s my husband of 30 years, but because he is a wonderful doctor who is not only skilled at his craft, but he genuinely cares about the welfare of his patients.
Away from the office, my favorite times are those spent with my family, including our three daughters, son, granddaughter and grandson. I also enjoy crocheting, crafts, traveling, and reading.
